As detailed in the June issue of the Pensioner magazine, the Glasgow & District is now the only functioning group in Scotland and future group meetings and activities, are open to all Scotland Branch members, regardless of where you live. A warm welcome awaits anyone wishing to do so.
Meetings have been reduced from seven down to four this year, being held in the usual venue at the Renfield Centre, 260 Bath Street, Glasgow G2 4JP, commencing at 1.30pm.
With the traditional summer break over July and August, the next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 1st September.
The following meeting, the last before the Christmas lunch is scheduled for 3rd November, with a visit from representatives from Glasgow’s Children’s Charity Hospital. A very popular event, as Christmas cards and gifts not available on the high street, will be available to purchase.
